We Hit $50K! Awesome New Stretch Goals Revealed!

Who's ready for more great news! 

After a strong day yesterday, our campaign has now just squeaked past the $50K in funding! That's DOUBLE our original funding goal! 

This, of course, means that the NEW RED C is for Cthulhu Baby Plush (6") is now fully funded and ready to go into production! 

Note: We will be producing a run of just 300 of these, and we already have a good number of backers who have added these to their pledge level. If you were waiting until the $50K milestone to place your order, NOW is the time to add one to your pledge to secure one! 

And if you were curious what a RED Cthulhu Plush looks like all decked out in our new Santa Suits... well, so were we! 

New Stretch Goals Revealed!

With us passing the $50K barrier and more than two weeks left in this launch, we've decided to make the road towards the next few big milestones all the more sweeter!

As you can see, we have some cool things coming up, with some of the highlights being... 

•  At $75K, we'll be able to bring back that RED C is for Cthulhu in Standard 12 in format, to go along with the new Baby Plush! 
•  At $60K, we'll be able to offer a C is for Cthulhu Christmas Card Enhancing the Signature Edition Upgrade Package.
•  And at $55K, we're going to do something that has been the most requested thing backers have been asking us to do for YEARS... we'll greenlight development on a new creature plush OTHER than Cthulhu... and best yet, we're going to let our backers help us choose which one! 

As you can see... the best is yet to come with this new launch, and we're soooooo glad you're all along for the ride!

We have something extra cool for you today that we're adding to the campaign! We've had a lot of requests for these in the past, but for the first time ever, we're making a limited number of LARGE CANVAS C IS FOR CTHULHU PRINTS AVAILABLE! 

 We're making 50 of each of these designs available as an add on to any pledge!

 These sturdy, large format canvas prints are going to look amazing hanging on any wall, and we can't wait to see some of your pics when they're hanging on yours!

• Thick poly-cotton blend canvas, Hand-stretched over solid wood stretcher bars
• Fade-resistant, with matte finish coating
• 1.5″ (3.81 cm) deep, with mounting brackets included

Not only that, because these will ship to backers direct from the manufacturer, we won't need to wait for all the other products to be produced to ship them to you... we'll get these out the door to you a few months before the rest of your pledge rewards arrive!

It's Red... BABY RED! (And We've Made Them Available Now!)

Well, the votes are in...

Earlier this week, we asked out backers to choose between us resurrecting our long sold out RED C is for Cthulhu Plush Toy in STANDARD 12 in size... or offering for the first time ever a NEW BABY RED in our adorable 6 in size.  

A tough decision, we know! 

However, decide we must, and we want to thank those of you who voted! We've tabulated all of the results... and the winning plush is...

BABY RED!

It was closer than you might have thought, but the cute, easy to travel with size, the lower $20 price point and the fact that this is a never-before-offered plush were enough to make it the clear winner!

Hey there! Hope you had a wonderful weekend! It was another strong showing over here at the latest C is for Cthulhu Kickstarter Launch, with our campaign vaulting over the 700 backer milestone! And for those of you keeping track at home, yes, that unlocked another stretch goal!

As we've now vaulted past the $45K milestone, we're going to hook up all of our C is for Cthulhu backers with an audio download creator commentary, taking you behind the scenes on the creation of this new book, with the gents who made it happen, writer Jason Ciaramella and artist Joshua Janes! 

NEW RETAILER PLEDGE LEVELS AVAILABLE!

We've had a few requests come in from small book store retailers and librarians interested in getting copies of our books for their collections.  To that end, we've put up a couple of bulk rewards where they can get a bunch of our books at a retail friendly discount.

STANDARD or BABY RED CTHULHU? Which Plush Should We Offer at $50K?

Okay, C is for Cthulhu backers, we need your help!

We've smashed through 2 stretch goals so far, and we're closing in on a big 200% funding milestone, which will give us the funding to either bring back our long sold-out RED C is for Cthulhu Plush in 12 inch size... or instead offer our RED Cthulhu in 6 in Baby Size for the first time. 

Which one should we add to this campaign? 

You know... it was never originally our plan to release Cthulhu Plush toys in different colors. However, when artist Greg Murphy was working on the original C is for Cthulhu Book, he made the interesting decision to do a RED version of Cthulhu on the C page... mostly because every other Cthulhu on the internet was green. 

When the first book was a success and we kept hearing from our fans that they wanted plush toys, we responded with another Kickstarter launch for an initial offering of GREEN Cthulhus... But our fans asked us for a RED Cthulhu as well, like the one featured in the book! 

So, once again, we have to credit the C is for Cthulhu family for the idea of the RED plush in the first place, and that was actually the very first plush toy we did a variant color for... alas, our 12 in Red has been sold out for at least 5 years, and that was the one color we were unable to bring back during our last big launch. 

But, since RED is one of the Christmas colors, we think it's only fitting to bring a RED Cthulhu back to life during this launch...

However, $50,000 in funding will provide the resources to greenlight production of either:

• Standard Red C is for Cthulhu Plush (12 in.) at a $39 Add-On Price
• Baby Red C is for Cthulhu Plush (6 in.) at a $39 Add-On Price

In the comments below, vote STANDARD or BABY!

We'd love your help deciding which version of the plush to create.  We know that some would say "Make 'em both!" and down the line, that might be possible... but because we have order minimums for any plush we create, it requires a large investment to add any new item to the campaign, and at this funding level, we can only pick one. 

So, we're going to defer to our audience and see which plush you'd most like to see!

And as a Special Incentive for Voting: We're going to pick one lucky backer from those who voted to receive whichever plush is the top vote getter for free when we hit $50K! But you need to place a vote to be in the running! 

We're going to make a decision on Monday Morning at 10AM EDT or once we hit $50K, whichever happens first, so if you want to help us make this decision and have a shot at getting one free, get your COMMENT vote in by then.
